Organisation
of data collection
- The research
company draws up a comprehensive timetable (dates and locations) of the data collection
stage and communicates it to the client.

If relevant, the dates and locations of training sessions (briefings) are also
indicated.

Generally speaking, all measure ensuring confidentiality are applied.

Training
of the personnel in charge of data collection (briefings )
- All interviewing
personnel (interviewers, supervisors, moderators
) receive training during
which the following are explained :
- the objectives of the study - the
instructions and the specific methods to use - the points to explore (questionnaire,
discussion guide
); - how to use the material etc..

Traceability
of data collection operations - In
order to have all the elements necessary to evaluate the quality of data collection
at their disposal, the research company ensures the traceability of the different
data collection documents, the following ones in particular :
- questionnaires
- instructions intended for the interviewing personnel (interviewers, supervisors,
moderators
); - procedures used for recruiting the respondents interviewed
or the participants in group discussions - any differences which occurred
between the sample sought and the one actually obtained (size and structure);
- refusal rates, when relevant - any difficulties encountered regarding the
study material or test products . -
Whatever the support material used, the date and duration of the interviews are
recorded and kept.
In the case of product tests involving one or more visits,
the number of actual interviews carried out at each stage is recorded .
- The questionnaire
and recruitment instructions are kept, as are the number of participants in each
group discussion and their characteristics.

Characteristics
of the personnel in charge of data collection
- The research company keeps
an up-to-date file on each member of the interviewing personnel, containing information
about their competencies, their role and the quality of their work.
- The research
company is in a position to justify the competence of its interviewing personnel
to the client at any time at their request, as long as the anonymity of the interviewing
personnel is respected.

Protection
of data of a personal nature - All
data collection and recording operations are conducted respecting the anonymity
of the respondents and in accordance with legislation on the protection of data
of a personal nature.

Anonymity
of the client - The
research company does not reveal the identity of the client company to the respondents,
unless the client company and research company both agree that it is useful or
necessary to do so.

Transparency
with regard to the respondents - Before
the interview or group discussion, the research company presents itself and reveals
the topic of the research.
- At the
end of the interview, the research company makes their name, address and telephone
number available to the respondent.

Monitoring
and checking of data collection - The
data collected is checked.

Whatever the method of data collection, each person who has conducted an interview
is identified for the purposes of checking.
- If
they so wish, the client can receive information about the checks carried out
on the interviewing personnel, as long as people's anonymity is respected.

Checking
of coding and data entry (if relevant ) - When
a tab spec is necessary, the research company makes sure that the people in charge
of coding have the necessary training and have received detailed instructions.

Checking

research company defines coding and data entry checking operations and makes sure
they are carried out.
